Residential Support Worker – Children’s Home
Location: Kingsbury, North West London, NW9
Salary: £26,500 per annum plus £55 per sleep-in
 
Are you a Residential Support Worker looking for a new opportunity in children’s residential care?
We are recruiting for a Residential Support Worker to join a children’s home in Kingsbury, North West London. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team where you can build positive relationships with young people and make a genuine difference to their everyday lives.
 
The role will include:

• Building positive and trusting relationships with young people
• Supporting young people with their daily routines and individual needs
• Encouraging independence, confidence and life skills
• Supporting with activities, appointments and community engagement
• Helping to create a safe, caring and homely environment
• Completing daily records and contributing to care plans
• Working closely with colleagues and other professionals
• Taking part in the sleep-in rota

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a NVQ Level 3 in residential childcare
• Is caring, patient and resilient
• Can build positive relationships with children and young people
• Is able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Works well as part of a team
• Is committed to safeguarding and improving outcomes for young people
• Has experience working with children and young people within residential childcare
