Registered Manager – Children’s Home
Earls Barton, Northamptonshire | Up to £54,500 + Bonus

Hargate Healthcare are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a children’s home in Earls Barton, Northamptonshire, supporting young people aged 8–18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

The Role As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running and development of the home, including:

  • Leading, motivating and developing the staff team
  • Ensuring young people receive consistently high standards of care
  • Supporting young people with their emotional and mental wellbeing
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary professionals
  • Promoting a therapeutic approach throughout the home
  • Maintaining and developing standards in line with Ofsted requirements
  • Providing supervision, support and development to the wider team
  • Taking the lead on safeguarding and child protection concerns
  • Building a positive culture within the home and being an active member of the Senior Management Team

Requirements To be considered for this Registered Manager position, you will need:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Minimum 2 years’ management experience within children’s homes
  • Experience and understanding of the current Ofsted Inspection Framework
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and best practice within children’s residential care
  • A confident, motivated leadership style with the ability to build and develop a strong staff team
