Senior Residential Support Worker
Coalville, Leicestershire | £30,160 to £32,656 + sleep ins (£7,200 per year)

The Role
 
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:
 
– Lead shifts and support the wider team
– Act as a role model for Residential Support Workers
– Support young people with daily routines, education and emotional wellbeing
– Manage behaviours and support through challenging situations
– Contribute to care planning and risk assessments
– Ensure safeguarding and compliance standards are consistently met

About you
 
To be successful in this Senior Residential Support Worker role, you will:
 
– Hold Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People or equivalent
– Have experience within children’s residential care
– Have experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
– Be confident leading shifts and supporting other staff
– Have strong safeguarding knowledge and understanding of best practice
– Hold a full UK driving licence
– Have strong communication and organisational skills
